Our tea bags are made of corn starch, crafted from a material called Soilon. Soilon is derived from polylactic acid (PLA), a natural, renewable resource made from cornstarch. This material is biodegradable and compostable, breaking down in your home compost bin.

There are 14 biodegradable tea bags contained in a single tea tube. As the herbs inside the tea bag are fresh and organic, the tea keeps it flavour, meaning you can use the tea bags again, sometimes even 3 times! Simply place the tea bag in the fridge if you wish to reuse at a later date. We also offer huge discounts in our bulk bags of tea bags. Click here to find out more.

Loose leaf is always the most sustainable and affordable way to enjoy tea, offering approximately 50 servings in a 50g tea tube.
