Our tea bags are made using NeoSoilon® PLA mesh, a plant based material derived from non-GMO sugarcane. According to our supplier, The Herbal Connection, this material is designed to biodegrade under suitable conditions.
We also offer reusable tea canisters and refill options, encouraging our customers to enjoy their favourite blends without needing a new canister every time.

Our tea bags are made using NeoSoilon® mesh, a plant based material produced from polylactic acid (PLA) derived from non-GMO sugarcane.
Unlike conventional petroleum based plastic tea bags, NeoSoilon® uses a renewable, plant-derived material. However, PLA is still a type of bioplastic, so our tea bags are not plastic-free.
According to our supplier, The Herbal Connection, NeoSoilon® is designed to biodegrade under suitable conditions. This doesn't mean the finished tea bags are suitable for home composting, and we don't currently make that claim.
We're committed to being transparent about the materials we use and continuing to explore more considered packaging options.
